The below website will give you all that you ever wanted to know about SPLOST.  As county employees we are not to try and sway parents toward making a decision about the SPLOST vote but rather inform them of what proposals are on the table so that they can make an informed decision.

Below are some of the building benefits of SPLOST for Roswell North. Remember, ALL schools will benefit from the technology upgrade. (see technology tab on above website) 

Roswell North Elementary School


•Replacement and/or repair of selected doors, windows and hardware.
•Replace acoustical ceiling grid and tile as required.
•Replace as needed marker/tack boards, toilet accessories, toilet partitions and shelving.
•Replace floor finishes as needed.
•Replace gymnasium flooring surface.
•Painting as necessary.
•Replace roofing.
•Replace and/or repair domestic water piping and plumbing fixtures as required.
•Update building’s HVAC system and controls as required.
•Update building’s electrical systems as required.
•Replace selected light fixtures in ceiling grid.
•Replace emergency generator.
•Update intercom and sound systems as required.
•Update fire alarm system as required.
•Update security system as required.
•Upgrade elevator controls.
•Replace and/or refinish stage flooring.
